Food Safety Concerns ?

You can fire it first! The clay once it has been fired turns into Bisque (the "after" image below), after that you can paint it and our Staff can ensure food safety.

Can I Take My Piece Home Today ?

No, all Clay Projects require a firing to remain structurally stable; to put them through the oven they must sit and air-dry for about 5 weeks otherwise they EXPLODE.

Can Kids Participate ?

There is no age restriction on Clay.

However, the items created in our studio must be selected from our Clay Instruction Book, which inherently means some level of coordination and instruction comprehension is required. Parents may help younger children create their chosen piece.

Warning: The younger the child the more likely their piece is to fall apart during the drying process. Younger children also tend to add too much water which turns their clay to mud, which we will not fire.

Do You Teach Us?

No, the clay walk in service is not a class nor lesson. However, Our Clay Instruction Book is built to explain and show Step-By-Step, How-To Instructions to create your pieces properly.

Is This The One With The Wheel ?

We do not have wheel-throwing at our studio. This is Clay Hand-Building which is you, your materials, and a table.

Can We Build Anything We Want ?

No, you MUST choose an item from the Clay Instruction Book.

But ! Everything in our book is built to be customizable and personalized to you. Every piece will be unique!
