To paint or not to paint? The choice is yours. There are pros and cons to painting wet clay. Our staff will be happy to go over those in detail. If you would like to paint immediately you are welcome to do so.
We will fire your piece.
If you chose to paint your piece the day you made it, this will be the only firing and you can pick up your finished piece in about 10 days.
If, however, you chose to wait, your piece will be fired to bisque and ready to paint in about 10 days. You can then paint it for the cost of a studio fee, and we will glaze and fire it again. Your finished piece will be ready for pick up about 10 days after painting.
